Agri-Futures Nova Scotia has been successfully delivering programs on behalf of the Government of Canada for more than 15 years. Throughout this time, Agri-Futures has developed deep expertise in project management and financial management.

Project management, is the application of knowledge, skills and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. It’s a strategic competency for organizations, enabling them to tie project results to business goals — and thus, better compete in their markets. (Project Management Institute, 2014)

Agri-Futures Nova Scotia is a not-for-profit association governed and led by a 10 member Board of Directors. These directors are all directly involved in agriculture; in fact, all are actively farming. The directors come from plant, animal, agri-business, and agricultural organizations. Our membership comes from the Council of Leaders of the NS Federation of Agriculture. As an industry-led organization, Agri-Futures Nova Scotia is able to respond quickly, appropriately, and efficiently, to the needs of the industry.
